A collision led to JK Tokhvri getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Maarek Pärnamets hit a great ball. The JK Tokhvri fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when JK Tokhvri's Joonatan Roosimägi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute Kalle Lääne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benno Roosimägi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kalle Lääne was the one to do the kick off. When Heiki Nagel came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the JK Tokhvri fans jumped to their feet. Benno Roosimägi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enno Ude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaerso's Kalle Lääne got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joonatan Roosimägi in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lembit Kotkas saved Kaerso from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Jörgen Laud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Allan Kampus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
