Saue Rovers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Nool was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Red Bull Tallinn got a freekick which was hit by Siim Rebane. Aivar Annuk hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Taaniel Tomat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Siim Erik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saue Rovers FC's Jan Narusk got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hans Rosin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Kansi in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saue Rovers FC's goalkeeper Siim Erik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Tallinn's zone, Marko Kansi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Rosin came out of the goal and Marko Kansi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Narusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Rosin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taaniel Tomat in the 60th minute of play forced Saue Rovers FC's goalkeeper Siim Erik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asso Veetamm kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Ülo Kääramees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Erik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, one of Saue Rovers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saue Rovers FC. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Red Bull Tallinn. Riivo Nugin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Siim Erik. 1-0. Asso Veetamm hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Ülo Kääramees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Erik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Saue Rovers FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jan Narusk hit a great ball. If Taaniel Tomat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ülo Kääramees scored 2-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siim Erik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Taaniel Tomat took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siim Erik. Siim Erik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 97th minute Taaniel Tomat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Erik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saue Rovers FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Red Bull Tallinn had won, even though Saue Rovers FC had held more of the ball.
