The crowd rose to their feet as FC WestMillie's Aapo Veider slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erni Onnu. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. When Mihkel Teller fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nõmme FC Kalju's protests and gave Mihkel Teller a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Nõmme FC Kalju got a freekick which was hit by Mihkel Teller. Erni Onnu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Erki Raudjärv sent off a good shot on target. After 17 played minutes Nõmme FC Kalju got a freekick which was hit by Isac Kilman. 19 minutes into the match, Nõmme FC Kalju's goalkeeper Erni Onnu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aapo Veider. In the 20th minute, Oskar Üksvärav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Mairo Kütt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erni Onnu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Nõmme FC Kalju's goalkeeper Erni Onnu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aapo Veider. Nõmme FC Kalju's Erni Onnu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aapo Veider in the 35th minute of play. Isac Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Sjögren having to interfere. A collision led to Nõmme FC Kalju getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Oskar Üksvärav hit a great ball. Erki Raudjärv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Erni Onnu made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tauno Leigo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Nõmme FC Kalju's goal looked a bit too open when Aapo Veider came free, but Erni Onnu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Aapo Veider managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC WestMillie's supporters rose to their feet, but Aapo Veider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erni Onnu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes FC WestMillie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaupo Post who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Paavo Lainevoog managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. FC WestMillie's Knut Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauno Leigo in the 60th minute of play. Erni Onnu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdur Tomat, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Nõmme FC Kalju defense, Aapo Veider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erni Onnu. The Nõmme FC Kalju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erni Onnu should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, FC WestMillie's goal looked a bit too open when Evald Härmi came free, but Knut Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erni Onnu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aapo Veider in the 92nd minute of play. There was no doubt that FC WestMillie were the better team. FC WestMillie's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
