Aivar Kirst charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aivar Kirst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Kuiwast FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aivar Kirst to maneuver through the defense. Rait Vesi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Paul Lainoja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kuldar Veenpere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Härmo Laenaja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alari Lille's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Alari Lille recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sulaoja's zone, Aivar Kirst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Lainoja came out of the goal and Aivar Kirst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerdo Roosipuu got free with Paul Lainoja in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute of the match Tõnn Hovi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Härmo Laenaja skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alari Lille recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kuldar Veenpere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Härmo Laenaja having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alari Lille in the 57th minute of play forced Kuiwast FC's goalkeeper Härmo Laenaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuldar Veenpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Härmo Laenaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Sulaoja's goal looked a bit too open when Aivar Kirst came free, but Paul Lainoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alari Lille in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Härmo Laenaja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 minutes of play, Kuiwast FC's Toomas Mees made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Lainoja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Härmo Laenaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuldar Veenpere in the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alari Lille's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Härmo Laenaja was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuldar Veenpere in the 82nd minute of play forced Kuiwast FC's goalkeeper Härmo Laenaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Lainoja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerdo Roosipuu in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alari Lille in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Härmo Laenaja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Härmo Laenaja didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2.
