Rando Roosna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivari Klaabu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th match minute, Mäepealse Pandad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aivar Võsu to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Vaksali's Ivari Klaabu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rando Roosna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Vaksali booed when Mäepealse Pandad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Püss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivari Klaabu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Andres Treu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaksali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Treu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erni Tamm's late challenge caught a Vaksali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erni Tamm helped the player get up and apologised. Erni Tamm hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Heigo Esko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mäepealse Pandad's supporters rose to their feet, but Heigo Esko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Alviste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ailar Niilus sped through Vaksali's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egon Alviste. Egon Alviste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heigo Esko in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Vaksali's Egon Alviste got control of the ball when Heigo Esko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vaksali's Egon Alviste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vaksali from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Vaksali getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tom Klaabu hit a great ball. Tom Püss, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Ivari Klaabu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Heigo Esko came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mäepealse Pandad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heigo Esko couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Kasemägi charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Kasemägi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Vaksali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Kasemägi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Toivo Udal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaksali's supporters rose to their feet, but Toivo Udal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rando Roosna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mäepealse Pandad had won after a very even match.
