If Tauri Saamatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to JK Kanavere getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ago Heinaru hit a great ball. fc JUSS's Kristjan Rohi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for JK Kanavere. 19 minutes into the game, Holger Veelmaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc JUSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Kanavere the free kick. Holger Veelmaa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tauri Saamatu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, JK Kanavere's goal looked a bit too open when Kaspar Kurg came free, but Eldur Kalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, JK Kanavere's Gunnar Vanamees got a free kick in the 29th minute. 46 minutes into the match, JK Kanavere's goalkeeper Eldur Kalde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tauri Saamatu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Hannes Merioja made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, JK Kanavere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Hirm to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 56 minutes, Tauri Saamatu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc JUSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tauri Saamatu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eldur Kalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tauri Saamatu in the 60th minute of play. Kaspar Kurg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eldur Kalde having to interfere. A collision led to JK Kanavere getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hannes Merioja hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Kaspar Kurg sped through JK Kanavere's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eldur Kalde. In the 75th minute Kaspar Kurg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eldur Kalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eldur Kalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tauri Saamatu in the 79th minute of play. Tauri Saamatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eldur Kalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in JK Kanavere's zone, Kaspar Kurg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eldur Kalde came out of the goal and Kaspar Kurg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaspar Kurg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Erik Lahe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JK Kanavere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc JUSS the free kick. In the 95th minute, Erik Lahe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauri Saamatu in the 96th minute of play forced JK Kanavere's goalkeeper Eldur Kalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JK Kanavere's Eldur Kalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar Kurg in the 97th minute of play. JK Kanavere's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
