Spectators: 7505 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lembit Pukk took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of FC Kotikud booed when Paljasmaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermo Vahtramäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Ratas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalev Põder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Margus Indus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalev Põder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Ratas having to interfere. Arnold Lepisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alex Ratas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Margus Indus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Margus Indus came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Kotikud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Margus Indus couldn't finish the play. In the 41st match minute, Paljasmaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ants Raun to maneuver through the defense. When Kalev Põder came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Kotikud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalev Põder couldn't finish the play. The FC Kotikud players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paljasmaa were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kalev Põder to make the kick off. Margus Indus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lembit Pukk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes FC Kotikud got a freekick which was hit by Margus Indus. 60 minutes into the match, Paljasmaa's Ants Raun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alan Kalev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kalev Põder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Kotikud's Kalev Põder got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kalev Põder came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Kotikud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalev Põder couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Paljasmaa's goal looked a bit too open when Margus Indus came free, but Alex Ratas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Salmistu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Alex Ratas came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kotikud's Kalev Põder. But to his dismay, Kalev Põder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Kalev Põder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Kotikud players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
