FC MASU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Voru the free kick. The supporters of Voru booed when FC MASU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tavo Vaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, Voru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mart Ümarik to maneuver through the defense. Jaagup Kaldoja came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Voru's Ago Elu. But to his dismay, Ago Elu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Ago Elu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neeme Jõeäär sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, FC MASU's goal looked a bit too open when Neeme Jõeäär came free, but Jaagup Kaldoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ago Elu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaagup Kaldoja was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neeme Jõeäär to make the kick off. The referee gave Tavo Vaha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jaagup Kaldoja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Tauri Pärtna made a precise shot to the right of Ivo Merioja. Voru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. FC MASU's Jaagup Kaldoja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neeme Jõeäär in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andri Maasik in the 71st minute of play forced Voru's goalkeeper Ivo Merioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Voru's Ago Elu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Asuja kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Neeme Jõeäär had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allar Olumets's late challenge caught a FC MASU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allar Olumets helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes, Voru's Sander Alajaan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaagup Kaldoja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Voru reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Ago Elu notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of FC MASU's Jaagup Kaldoja. Jaagup Kaldoja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Voru getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jass Rahu hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Ago Elu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ago Elu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Neeme Jõeäär lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Jaagup Kaldoja.
