Vambola Kartau came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Karma JK's Cedric Rieger. But to his dismay, Cedric Rieger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Cedric Rieger put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vambola Kartau. Ovanurme's Vambola Kartau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalev Einasto in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Rieger in the 26th minute of play forced Ovanurme's goalkeeper Vambola Kartau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cedric Rieger sped through Ovanurme's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vambola Kartau. Ovanurme's Vambola Kartau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Rieger in the 32nd minute of play. Mait Vares hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Cedric Rieger got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vambola Kartau handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Cedric Rieger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Ovanurme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Margus Kallaste to maneuver through the defense. Kalev Einasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vambola Kartau having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vambola Kartau made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cedric Rieger sent off a good shot on target. Kalev Einasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Mait Vares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karma JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ovanurme the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Karma JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mait Vares to maneuver through the defense. Erki Paukson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Manzo having to interfere. Ovanurme's Vambola Kartau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ovanurme from getting a goal against them. Kalev Einasto struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Vambola Kartau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karma JK. 69 minutes into the match, Cedric Rieger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vambola Kartau, 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Ovanurme's goalkeeper Vambola Kartau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cedric Rieger. If Erki Paukson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovanurme's Vambola Kartau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ovanurme from getting a goal against them. Vambola Kartau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cedric Rieger in the 88th minute. If Cedric Rieger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
