Egon Vähe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norman Eelrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. When Egon Vähe came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Vilimaa SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Vähe couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Pärnu JK Vaprus's goal looked a bit too open when Olavi Arumäe came free, but Norman Eelrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Pärnu JK Vaprus's Kalju Valt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Virsa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Norman Eelrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Vähe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the match, Vilimaa SK's goal looked a bit too open when Volli Viira came free, but Bruno Virsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olavi Arumäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norman Eelrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavi Arumäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erkki Uhtlik's late challenge caught a Vilimaa SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erkki Uhtlik helped the player get up and apologised. Erkki Uhtlik kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Bruno Virsa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Pärnu JK Vaprus's Volli Viira. But to his dismay, Volli Viira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 47 minutes, Riho Kuningas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pärnu JK Vaprus and the Vilimaa SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Riho Kuningas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Pärnu JK Vaprus were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavi Arumäe to make the kick off. Volli Viira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Vilimaa SK's goal looked a bit too open when Uuno Unt came free, but Bruno Virsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Virsa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léo Simões in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, Inari Mihklimäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Uuno Unt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Virsa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Diederiek Van Den Abeele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volli Viira in the 71st minute of play forced Vilimaa SK's goalkeeper Bruno Virsa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norman Eelrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavi Arumäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ermanno Pari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Eelrand having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pärnu JK Vaprus's Erkki Uhtlik got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Olavi Arumäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olavi Arumäe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Zdeněk Peterka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pärnu JK Vaprus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Léo Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léo Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Léo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Kalju Valt fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pärnu JK Vaprus's protests and gave Kalju Valt a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Pärnu JK Vaprus got a freekick which was hit by Kalju Valt. 89 minutes into the match, Vilimaa SK's goal looked a bit too open when Volli Viira came free, but Bruno Virsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Virsa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Volli Viira went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Bruno Virsa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volli Viira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pärnu JK Vaprus players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
