The crowd rose to their feet as ac varrukad's Raivo Tarand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aabel Raidma. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Fred Ülesoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Priidu Alliksaar during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ac varrukad getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Priidu Alliksaar hit a great ball. Arto Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Ülesoo having to interfere. Aron Ehrlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Ehrlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aabel Raidma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Raivo Tarand elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raivo Tarand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aabel Raidma having to interfere. The supporters of Sarge booed when ac varrukad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Ehrlich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Ehrlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Raivo Tarand fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aabel Raidma, passed just outside the right post. If Raivo Tarand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raivo Tarand in the 47th minute of play forced Sarge's goalkeeper Aabel Raidma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arto Lange made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, ac varrukad's goalkeeper Fred Ülesoo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Vananurm. A collision led to Sarge getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mait Seitse hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, ac varrukad's Jaan Teras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aabel Raidma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ac varrukad reached it. Aabel Raidma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raivo Tarand in the 60th minute of play. Aabel Raidma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Ehrlich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, ac varrukad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Hermaste to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arto Lange in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Ülesoo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was beautiful to see ac varrukad's Jaan Teras in action when he in the 72nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Aron Ehrlich came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ac varrukad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Ehrlich couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arto Lange in the 81st minute of play forced ac varrukad's goalkeeper Fred Ülesoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Kärson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Aron Ehrlich came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the ac varrukad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Ehrlich couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Aron Ehrlich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aabel Raidma was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ac varrukad had played much better football throughout.
