Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Maarjamaa kicked off to start the match. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uuno Niitsoo helped the player get up and apologised. Vaino Kevad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Aabel Raidma made a huge save. Sarge's Aabel Raidma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sarge from getting a goal against them. Vaino Kevad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aabel Raidma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Norman Kaare hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aabel Raidma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Maarjamaa in the 43rd minute of the match. FS Lae's Edgar Maarjamaa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Sarge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Kaare to maneuver through the defense. Vaino Kevad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aabel Raidma having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arto Lange was the one to do the kick off. Vaino Kevad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Maarjamaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgar Maarjamaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aabel Raidma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Aabel Raidma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaino Kevad in the 78th minute of play. Edgar Maarjamaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaino Kevad in the 86th minute of play forced Sarge's goalkeeper Aabel Raidma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edgar Maarjamaa came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FS Lae fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Maarjamaa couldn't finish the play. Vaino Kevad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FS Lae fully deserved thier win.
