JK Jalgpallihaigla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egert Tael ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Karulope's corner Egert Tael fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Väino Lehemets quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute Evald Raitviir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Väino Lehemets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heldur Laane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aivar Uudur in the 45th minute of the match. FC Karulope's Heldur Laane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Karulope from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aivar Uudur was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes FC Karulope got a freekick which was hit by Eedi Eenmäe. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evald Raitviir during the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evald Raitviir in the 68th minute of play forced JK Jalgpallihaigla's goalkeeper Väino Lehemets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Karulope's Evald Raitviir got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JK Jalgpallihaigla fully deserved thier win.
