Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mati Eesti started the match with the kick off. Mati Eesti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kulitse's Peep Ainsoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mati Eesti in the 5th minute of play. Peep Ainsoo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mati Eesti's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kulitse's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Väino Rannik was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Silla's players had a chance to rest. 12 minutes into the match, Kulitse's goal looked a bit too open when Janek Hermann came free, but Peep Ainsoo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Kulitse got a freekick which was hit by Mati Äär. When Mati Eesti came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Silla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mati Eesti couldn't finish the play. The FC Silla fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when FC Silla's Mati Eesti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of FC Silla booed when Kulitse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mati Äär didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Aivar Vismann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peep Ainsoo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 44th minute Mati Eesti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peep Ainsoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Mati Eesti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Silla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mati Eesti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aksel Oese made a kick off. Mati Eesti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Peep Ainsoo made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Kulitse's goalkeeper Peep Ainsoo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hando Verk. In the 58th minute, Maarek Rillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Veerma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Mati Eesti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Peep Ainsoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, FC Silla's Mati Eesti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. With a little luck, Kulitse's Peep Ainsoo got control of the ball when Aivar Vismann tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tauri Viigipuu fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Silla's protests and gave Tauri Viigipuu a yellow card for diving instead. Tauri Viigipuu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Peep Ainsoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mati Eesti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Kulitse got a freekick which was hit by Kaur Rännu. The FC Silla supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Silla would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
