Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kuido Nõmmsalu started the match with the kick off. Bert Murumets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Olaf Raadel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mait Jaanovits charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mait Jaanovits the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ykha's Mait Jaanovits got a free kick in the 5th minute. Villem Kuul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Raadel having to interfere. Ykha's Olaf Raadel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villem Kuul in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ykha defense, Villem Kuul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Raadel. The Ykha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Raadel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ykha booed when Kuressaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernhard Nummert didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kuressaare getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernhard Nummert hit a great ball. When Valdur Tajur came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ykha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdur Tajur couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Villem Kuul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuressaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villem Kuul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bert Murumets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Villem Kuul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Raadel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match, Valdur Tajur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eero Taevere was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdur Tajur got free with Eero Taevere in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuido Nõmmsalu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eero Taevere came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuido Nõmmsalu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ykha's Mait Jaanovits got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Bert Murumets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bert Murumets made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ykha's goalkeeper Olaf Raadel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Kuressaare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sulev Äss to maneuver through the defense. Kaijo Nurmik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eero Taevere. Kuressaare's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 61st minute Kuido Nõmmsalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eero Taevere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Valdur Tajur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eero Taevere. Kuressaare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdur Tajur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Kuressaare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ykha the free kick. In the 80th minute, Villem Kuul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Ilmar Härmi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martti Pärt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Olaf Raadel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Murumets in the 91st minute of the match. Martti Pärt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Villem Kuul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Raadel having to interfere. The supporters of Ykha booed when Kuressaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauno Ratas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
