In the 11thth minute of the game Kuido Allikmäe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unikyula FC's Lembit Viigipuu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lembit Viigipuu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rando Raun, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of saabastega tähed booed when Unikyula FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaanus Veskur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Randveer to make the kick off. When Unikyula FC's Samuel Randveer in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kuido Allikmäe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lembit Viigipuu made a huge save. Antti Kaldur scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Mäeselja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Juus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Mäeselja having to interfere. Unikyula FC's Jaanus Veskur got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Mäeselja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Randveer in the 79th minute of play. Lembit Viigipuu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. Asso Ustav, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jan Juus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Henrik Mäeselja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Unikyula FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while saabastega tähed had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
