The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Ramols showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Adolf Koba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vabatkyula SK's Sérgio Ramols was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vabatkyula SK's Andrus Vilborn got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vabatkyula SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ainar Äss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maido Lattu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
