Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fred Noormets started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oliver Uudikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Uudikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Jaani having to interfere. Oliver Uudikas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Jaani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Fred Noormets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emil Jaani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrus Lepist's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Timo Kaljuvee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Noormets in the 33rd minute of the match. Lennart Ülem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Timo Kaljuvee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrus Lepist made a kick off. If Fred Noormets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrus Lepist in the 58th minute of play forced FC ELKs's goalkeeper Emil Jaani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, FC ELKs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eldur Kangro to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Oliver Uudikas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Jaani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 78 minutes into the match, Aravete's Andrus Lepist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Jaani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Aravete's Andrus Lepist in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ELKs's goalie prevented a goal. Oliver Uudikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Jaani having to interfere. When Oliver Uudikas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Aravete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Uudikas couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Andrus Lepist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Jaani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Aravete getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Taimo Trepp hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aravete's zone, Fred Noormets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timo Kaljuvee came out of the goal and Fred Noormets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, FC ELKs's goal looked a bit too open when Kristjan Aavola came free, but Emil Jaani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Uudikas might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Jaani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Uudikas ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
