The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richard Öpik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Meelis Lill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Makasserespor FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ragnar Lass hit a great ball. With a little luck, Makasserespor FC's Meelis Lill got control of the ball when Kunnar Univer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard Öpik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Richard Öpik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Meelis Lill was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Richard Öpik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meelis Lill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Richard Öpik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kunnar Univer got free with Meelis Lill in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Richard Öpik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meelis Lill stood somewhat misplaced when Richard Öpik came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Meelis Lill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kunnar Univer in the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Ainsaar to strike the kick off in the second half. Meelis Lill came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Hurjaste's Richard Öpik. But to his dismay, Richard Öpik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kunnar Univer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meelis Lill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunnar Univer in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Kunnar Univer notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Makasserespor FC's Meelis Lill. Meelis Lill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dan Ainsaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janno Videvik having to make a save. Kunnar Univer succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Öpik in the 79th minute of play forced Makasserespor FC's goalkeeper Meelis Lill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kunnar Univer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meelis Lill having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Makasserespor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Öpik came free, but Meelis Lill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Richard Öpik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meelis Lill was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Meelis Lill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Öpik in the 89th minute of play. When Ragnar Lass fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Makasserespor FC's protests and gave Ragnar Lass a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Makasserespor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Lass to maneuver through the defense. If Kunnar Univer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hurjaste booed when Makasserespor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ain Heinsalu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kunnar Univer struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Meelis Lill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurjaste. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hurjaste fans cheered their team off the field, for while Makasserespor FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
