In the 14th match minute, River FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agur Loodus to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Pavel Jõekallas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Jõekallas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hando Pahasoo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jairo Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peedu Napasepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of FC Inter:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River FC:s goal. Jairo Atauri went to the wrong direction when Agur Loodus was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 30th minute, Anti Müürsepp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riivo Laar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hando Pahasoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hando Pahasoo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Volli Aas went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 46 played minutes FC Inter got a freekick which was hit by Anti Müürsepp.

Hando Pahasoo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riivo Laar in the 52nd minute of the match. Hando Pahasoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riivo Laar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Indus hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hando Pahasoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hando Luige, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Hando Pahasoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riivo Laar in the 88th minute of play. Hando Pahasoo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Volli Aas went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Riivo Laar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Inter were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of River FC for a fine match.
