After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bas Geerds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyaaniste's supporters rose to their feet, but Bas Geerds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaspar Avaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas Geerds in the 12th minute of play forced Pantifer's goalkeeper Kaspar Avaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Aivar Maandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyaaniste's supporters rose to their feet, but Aivar Maandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaspar Avaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Bas Geerds put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kaspar Avaja. In the 21st minute, Fernan Normando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bas Geerds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kaimo Elujõe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Etii's late challenge caught a Lyaaniste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bert Etii helped the player get up and apologised. If Bas Geerds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaspar Avaja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Normando's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Kuuno Varendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Vain in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play Pantifer's Bert Etii was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bert Etii hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Lyaaniste's Janis Uustal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pantifer. Fernan Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kaspar Avaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pantifer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lyaaniste were winning 0-1.

In the 62nd minute, Taniel Lääne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pantifer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 67th minute Kaimo Elujõe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuuno Varendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Bas Geerds ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaspar Avaja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Kaspar Avaja was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Bas Geerds capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bas Geerds really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 80th minute, Fernan Normando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaspar Avaja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 84th minute, Bas Geerds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaspar Avaja made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bas Geerds sent off a good shot on target. Kaimo Elujõe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kuuno Varendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riho Vooglaid kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lyaaniste's Tom Niilus got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Lyaaniste supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lyaaniste would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
