To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laur Nikopensius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalev Ilves, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Taaniel Talv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helger Volmer in the 45th minute of play. Taaniel Talv was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Kristjan Asi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kristjan Asi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
