After taking down the ball on FC Sparta's corner Ragnar Mustakivi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tarmo Vaima quite easily take care of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Johannes Raag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tarmo Vaima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute of the match Kaimo Kartul shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarmo Vaima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Kristjan Asi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Sparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristjan Asi couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Helger Kupits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laur Nikopensius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarmo Vaima was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Kristjan Asi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kristjan Asi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 97 minutes into the match, Reinevere's goalkeeper Tarmo Vaima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Raag.
