Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Roo's Laur Vaarmets started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Allar Vaarikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egert Ott in the 3rd minute of play. Laur Vaarmets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Allar Vaarikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egert Ott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allar Vaarikas having to interfere. When Laur Vaarmets came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Roo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laur Vaarmets couldn't finish the play. Roo's Magnus Heinloo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Roo from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Vaino Raidmets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Heinloo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Võsa kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Allar Vaarikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egert Ott in the 17th minute of the match. Magnus Heinloo stood somewhat misplaced when Lembit Mees came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. If Egert Ott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Arne Oper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allar Vaarikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laur Vaarmets, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Egert Ott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allar Vaarikas. FC OTEPÄÄ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egert Ott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC OTEPÄÄ's zone, Laur Vaarmets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allar Vaarikas came out of the goal and Laur Vaarmets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaino Raidmets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Magnus Heinloo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Heinloo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Lembit Mees sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaino Raidmets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lembit Mees fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC OTEPÄÄ's protests and gave Lembit Mees a yellow card for diving instead. Lembit Mees hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Roo's Magnus Heinloo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Mees in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Kaspar Ludri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Võsa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allar Vaarikas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC OTEPÄÄ defense, Egert Ott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allar Vaarikas. The FC OTEPÄÄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allar Vaarikas should have stopped the shot. Roo's Magnus Heinloo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaino Raidmets in the 75th minute of play. Vaino Raidmets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Roo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
