Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lou Cromefeldt scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Stein Van Eyke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stein Van Eyke really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Lou Cromefeldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Cromefeldt in the 14th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Stein Van Eyke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Colebrants. Matias Colebrants dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Colebrants having to interfere. Lou Cromefeldt struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Rossem. 33 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lou Cromefeldt came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stein Van Eyke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lou Cromefeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stein Van Eyke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stein Van Eyke in the 62nd minute of play. Fc Rossem were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Crispijn Deprez took the corner. In the 64th minute of the match Fc Rossem got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Crispijn Deprez ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 70th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Colebrants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Fc Rossem's goalkeeper Matias Colebrants had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Stein Van Eyke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of Germany booed when Fc Rossem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannik Van der Meiren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Crispijn Deprez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lou Cromefeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lou Cromefeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Crispijn Deprez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Cromefeldt in the 90th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
