If Ervin Liib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olev Kaare's late challenge caught a Kiia JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olev Kaare helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kiia JK booed when Surtsi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olev Kaare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Priit Rõõm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ervin Liib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leopold Roosna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Ervin Liib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopold Roosna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerdo Kalamees sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Priit Rõõm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ervin Liib made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Surtsi SK's zone, Ervin Liib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopold Roosna came out of the goal and Ervin Liib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiia JK's goalkeeper Taimo Normann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kiia JK booed when Surtsi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vello Nemvalts didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ervin Liib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Roosna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerdo Kalamees in the 75th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Surtsi SK got a freekick which was hit by Hillar Reitalu. After recieving a nice pass, Kiia JK's Alo Jõe tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Ervin Liib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiia JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ervin Liib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopold Roosna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspar Leemet in the 88th minute of the match. Kaimo Ruul took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopold Roosna. Surtsi SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kiia JK fully deserved thier win.
