Arto Aas succeeded in the game's 5th minute to get real power on a long shot . FC Maarja's Hardo Karju hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! Villem Karai hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Hardo Karju didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Endel Lest went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. FC Maarja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Virgo Pihlak scored to the left of an out of position Hardo Karju, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of FC Maarja booed when Lyyuze FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Übi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rando Mardipoeg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uuno Edesi's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 32nd minute, Uuno Edesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sepo Kobakäpp in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Maarja's goalkeeper Hardo Karju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Endel Lest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hardo Karju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Rauno Aaring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyyuze FC and the FC Maarja players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Maarja booed when Lyyuze FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauno Aaring didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Sepo Kobakäpp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardo Karju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyyuze FC's Rando Mardipoeg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uuno Edesi in the 60th minute of play. If Sepo Ahja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endel Lest in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Maarja's goalkeeper Hardo Karju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hardo Karju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sepo Kobakäpp in the 65th minute of play. Rando Mardipoeg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uuno Edesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hardo Karju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauno Aaring, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Endel Lest left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyyuze FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Hardo Karju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endel Lest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sepo Ahja came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rando Mardipoeg could save by the left post. In the 89th minute, Uuno Edesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Virgo Pihlak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardo Karju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lyyuze FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Maarja had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
