Yysu's Hardi Maandi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erki Lond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Heintalu having to interfere. When Erki Lond came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Yysu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erki Lond couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Yysu's Erki Lond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingmar Heintalu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alvar Alango's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julius Hindpere was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Lembitu Krooli hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Jericho FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ergo Lõiv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julius Hindpere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Erki Lond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Heintalu having to interfere. If Erki Lond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erki Lond in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingmar Heintalu saved Jericho FC from getting behind. In the 84th minute Erki Lond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Heintalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Yysu got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Varm. The Jericho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jericho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
