The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Heinola got free with Julius Hindpere in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hardi Maandi sped through Rapla JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uudo Kiilaspää. Uudo Kiilaspää showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erki Lond, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Hardi Maandi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Erki Lond came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Yysu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erki Lond couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the game, Oliver Okspuu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapla JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yysu the free kick. Oliver Okspuu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Erki Lond got free in front of the goal in the 38th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Uudo Kiilaspää was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Yysu's Erki Lond in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapla JK's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Yysu's Andreas Noorpea got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rapla JK's Oliver Okspuu got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Oliver Okspuu off the ground. Oliver Okspuu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Erki Lond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Yysu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralf Heinola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Erki Lond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Heinola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Hindpere having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Ivar Varm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yysu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapla JK the free kick. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yysu! The referee gave Rapla JK a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elar Leinapaju, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yysu's Julius Hindpere. 1-1. Hardi Maandi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erki Lond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Uudo Kiilaspää tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uudo Kiilaspää made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erki Lond in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yysu's zone, Ralf Heinola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Hindpere came out of the goal and Ralf Heinola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hardi Maandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yysu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hardi Maandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uudo Kiilaspää breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Erki Lond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uudo Kiilaspää saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hardi Maandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
