Raivo Aasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Hindpere having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehis Juura in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julius Hindpere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mait Lillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Arula's Mehis Juura got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14thth minute of the game Mehis Juura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yysu's Julius Hindpere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lembitu Krooli came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Neeme Veerma could save by the left post. Yysu's Julius Hindpere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raivo Aasa in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Mehis Juura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Arula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehis Juura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Arula were furious when Aron Vaikma was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Arula! In the 24th minute, Raivo Aasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, FC Arula's goal looked a bit too open when Erki Lond came free, but Neeme Veerma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Arula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The long shot by Aadu Algaja in the 33rd minute really tested Neeme Veerma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 36th minute Mehis Juura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Hindpere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raivo Aasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Yysu's zone, Mehis Juura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Hindpere came out of the goal and Mehis Juura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mehis Juura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehis Juura in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julius Hindpere saved Yysu from getting behind. When Andreas Noorpea fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yysu's protests and gave Andreas Noorpea a yellow card for diving instead. Andreas Noorpea hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Erki Lond struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Neeme Veerma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yysu. Mehis Juura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Julius Hindpere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes FC Arula got a freekick which was hit by Jass Jaanovits. After some careless play in the FC Arula defense, Andreas Noorpea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neeme Veerma. The FC Arula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neeme Veerma should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Yysu's Julius Hindpere got control of the ball when Mehis Juura tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Arula's Dan Lell was substituted for Jann Napasepp. Mehis Juura took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Hindpere. Julius Hindpere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 90th minute, Raivo Aasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julius Hindpere. The goal made the score 2-2. Julius Hindpere was a little too slow when Raivo Aasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-3. When the final whistle sounded FC Arula left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yysu.
