The referee ignored CSKA Moscow's protests and gave Heldur Luuse a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes CSKA Moscow got a freekick which was hit by Heldur Luuse. Üllar Ööpik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reino Arujärv. CSKA Moscow's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antti Vaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, Kaspar Kübar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eavere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Moscow the free kick. A collision led to Eavere getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Kaspar Kübar hit a great ball. In the 49th minute of the match Vallo Kersna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristofer Laanjärv showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Antti Vaas made the kick off in the second half. Reino Arujärv made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Hardi Kasemetsa sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Hardi Kasemetsa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaspar Vallik charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaspar Vallik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reino Arujärv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Uudevald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CSKA Moscow fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eavere had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
