In the 22nd minute, Mihkel Kender got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Oliver Kadarpik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enno Leks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Kavaso's Enno Leks got control of the ball when Mihkel Kender tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Oliver Kadarpik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakeseyde's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Kadarpik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enno Leks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enno Leks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Kadarpik's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. If Oliver Kadarpik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Maarek Kuningas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kavaso and the Lakeseyde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maarek Kuningas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Enno Leks was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihkel Kender showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Enno Leks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Kadarpik in the 80th minute of the match. The Lakeseyde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valter Runnel should have stopped the shot. After having played for 93 minutes, Uudo Vint managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kavaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uudo Vint was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Lakeseyde got a freekick which was hit by Ainar Kampus. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lakeseyde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
