Erkki Mõniste was a little too slow when Dan Rank got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Selja's goal looked a bit too open when Ermo Kurt came free, but Lembit Rohumaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karmo Ööpik to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvard Varusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Selja's goalkeeper Lembit Rohumaa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Varusk.
