Härmo Leo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ermo Sõnapidaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC MLK Pagulased booed when Vaimla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asko Lõiv didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Rait Harju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermo Sõnapidaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Härmo Leo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Oodo Veskimägi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Püss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuido Püss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oodo Veskimägi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Härmo Leo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermo Sõnapidaja having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Vaimla's Härmo Leo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermo Sõnapidaja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vaimla's Kuido Püss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Varma in the 33rd minute of play. Simo Elujõe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Herbert Vitsut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermo Sõnapidaja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asko Lõiv in the 43rd minute of play forced FC MLK Pagulased's goalkeeper Ermo Sõnapidaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asko Lõiv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermo Sõnapidaja having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Härmo Leo was the one to do the kick off. Aare Laanelepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Härmo Leo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaimla's supporters rose to their feet, but Härmo Leo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermo Sõnapidaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuido Püss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oodo Veskimägi in the 69th minute of play. Rait Harju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kuido Püss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oodo Veskimägi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC MLK Pagulased fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oodo Veskimägi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC MLK Pagulased's zone, Herbert Vitsut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermo Sõnapidaja came out of the goal and Herbert Vitsut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermo Sõnapidaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asko Lõiv in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Vaimla's Asko Lõiv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermo Sõnapidaja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuido Püss made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rait Harju sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Vaimla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
