Ermo Sõnapidaja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lembit Vaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oodo Veskimägi in the 12th minute of play. Lembit Vaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oodo Veskimägi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermo Sõnapidaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerdo Veldermann in the 19th minute of the match. Kerdo Veldermann took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermo Sõnapidaja. Ermo Sõnapidaja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerdo Veldermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, FC MLK Pagulased's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Võsu came free, but Ermo Sõnapidaja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Edasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ermo Sõnapidaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lembit Vaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aare Laanelepp in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Toivo Rammo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lembit Vaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Aksel Külaots made a precise shot to the right of Ermo Sõnapidaja. FC MLK Pagulased's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Kerdo Veldermann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ermo Sõnapidaja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ermo Sõnapidaja made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Arne Võsu sent off a good shot on target. Lembit Vaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rait Harju in the 75th minute of play. Ermo Sõnapidaja made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Kerdo Veldermann sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Tarwast's Imre Leppik dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Kerdo Veldermann's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ermo Sõnapidaja firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86thth minute of the game Kerdo Veldermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MLK Pagulased's Ermo Sõnapidaja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermo Sõnapidaja made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Kerdo Veldermann sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes of play, FC MLK Pagulased's Toivo Rammo made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lembit Vaik was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, FC MLK Pagulased's Ermo Sõnapidaja got control of the ball when Kerdo Veldermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC MLK Pagulased fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tarwast were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
