Vaimla's Kuido Püss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Vaimla from getting a goal against them. In the 10th match minute, Janeda SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mati Oksa to maneuver through the defense. Dan Intel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Härmo Leo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Janeda SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Ülend to maneuver through the defense. When Ingmar Ülend fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Janeda SK's protests and gave Ingmar Ülend a yellow card for diving instead. Ingmar Ülend hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vaimla's zone, Kerdo Haan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuido Püss came out of the goal and Kerdo Haan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ingmar Ülend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vaimla's Herbert Vitsut got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ingmar Ülend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kuido Püss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Intel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Härmo Leo in the 39th minute of the match. Herbert Vitsut might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Intel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Vitsut ran back to his position shaking his head. Härmo Leo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Intel having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingmar Ülend to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Aare Teppan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vaimla's Herbert Vitsut got a free kick in the 57th minute. Herbert Vitsut struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dan Intel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaimla. After having played for 67 minutes, Härmo Leo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaimla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Härmo Leo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Janeda SK's zone, Asko Lõiv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Intel came out of the goal and Asko Lõiv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Ülend in the 77th minute of play forced Vaimla's goalkeeper Kuido Püss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asko Lõiv's late challenge caught a Janeda SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asko Lõiv helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vaimla getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Asko Lõiv hit a great ball. Evald Peelmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Intel having to interfere. Härmo Leo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dan Intel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
