Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Allan Kruus kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arumae FC's goalkeeper Erkki Hääl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Karmo Ööpik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkki Hääl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karmo Ööpik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Erkki Hääl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Selja's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Kruus came free, but Lembit Rohumaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Selja getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Karmo Ööpik hit a great ball. If Allan Kruus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Virumaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lembit Rohumaa having to interfere. Lembit Rohumaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Kruus, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Lembit Rohumaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Kruus in the 39th minute of play. Arumae FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Karmo Ööpik scored to the left of an out of position Erkki Hääl, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karmo Ööpik was the one to do the kick off. Arumae FC's Erkki Hääl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karmo Ööpik in the 51st minute of play. Selja's Lembit Rohumaa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Selja from getting a goal against them. Lembit Rohumaa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Kruus's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Lembit Rohumaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Kruus in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Arumae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karmo Ööpik came free, but Erkki Hääl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Priidik Valter's late challenge caught a Selja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Priidik Valter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Selja booed when Arumae FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Priidik Valter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Jörgen Virumaa in the 66thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Lembit Rohumaa had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 67th minute, Arvi Hõbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Virumaa struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Lembit Rohumaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arumae FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Kruus in the 76th minute of play forced Selja's goalkeeper Lembit Rohumaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Jörgen Virumaa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lembit Rohumaa, passed just outside the right post. Arumae FC's Priidik Valter got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Priidik Valter off the ground. A collision led to Arumae FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Priidik Valter hit a great ball. Udo Kroonmäe hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Karmo Ööpik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkki Hääl having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Selja's Karmo Ööpik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erkki Hääl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Selja's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
