After a defensive mix-up in FC SaateKotte's zone, Ats Rännu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarmo Uusen came out of the goal and Ats Rännu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Ilmar Anderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC SaateKotte's Tarmo Uusen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmut Üllas in the 44th minute of play. Tarmo Uusen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmut Üllas in the 46th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes FC SaateKotte got a freekick which was hit by Jaak Maasikas. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

0-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Helmut Üllas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ats Rännu sped through FC SaateKotte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tarmo Uusen. Tauno Teraväe kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SK Kaarikmae's zone, Ahto Vismann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eino Alekõrs came out of the goal and Ahto Vismann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, SK Kaarikmae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alo Hinn to maneuver through the defense. Ats Rännu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarmo Uusen having to interfere. Helmut Üllas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tarmo Uusen made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ats Rännu sent off a good shot on target. If Ahto Vismann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Helmut Üllas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tarmo Uusen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
