The supporters of Toomika booed when Khapsalu JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endel Treu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Agu Kalkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agu Kalkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agu Kalkun scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Üllar Pihlak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Toomika's Agu Kalkun got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Agu Kalkun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Üllar Pihlak was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hillar Hovi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toomika's supporters rose to their feet, but Hillar Hovi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Üllar Pihlak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Aivar Hanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Hillar Hovi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Üllar Pihlak, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Khapsalu JK's Rasmus Nurme got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Khapsalu JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Toomika were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
