Mairo Kesa came out of the goal and Neeme Varm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennu Reisalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Üllar Pihlak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neeme Varm in the 22nd minute of play forced Tekhumardi SK's goalkeeper Mairo Kesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Roos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Neeme Varm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mairo Kesa having to interfere. Rein Vanamets kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ennu Reisalu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khapsalu JK's Üllar Pihlak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Khapsalu JK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Endel Treu hit a great ball. Vambola Nummert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Üllar Pihlak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Auru struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mairo Kesa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khapsalu JK. If Neeme Varm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When Endel Treu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Khapsalu JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endel Treu couldn't finish the play. Üllar Pihlak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennu Reisalu in the 65th minute of the match. If Andreas Auru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes, Tekhumardi SK's Kalmer Säga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Üllar Pihlak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tekhumardi SK reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Tekhumardi SK's goalkeeper Mairo Kesa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Auru.
