An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaljo Talvari in the 9th minute of play forced Viru Wõitlejad's goalkeeper Egon Eesti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Koikson got free with Egon Eesti in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helari Tomat in the 12th minute of play forced Fc Zõlekesed's goalkeeper Valmar Vooro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaljo Talvari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Egon Eesti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Viru Wõitlejad's goalkeeper Egon Eesti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Koikson. When Valter Kann came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Fc Zõlekesed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Kann couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Helari Tomat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valmar Vooro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Koikson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Eesti having to interfere. The supporters of Viru Wõitlejad booed when Fc Zõlekesed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Raudsaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valmar Vooro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helari Tomat, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Ervin Käps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Kaljo Talvari dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egon Eesti, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erki Marja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Erki Marja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Helari Tomat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Oliver Eiber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egon Eesti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Koikson in the 88th minute of the match. Fc Zõlekesed's Kaljo Talvari got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Viru Wõitlejad getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jan Lille hit a great ball. Kaljo Talvari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
