To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Kruus got free with Madis Virumaa in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehis Emane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Kuuskmäe having to interfere. In the 79th minute Kaimo Nõgel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Kuuskmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Saareoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madis Virumaa having to interfere. Leedi's Madis Virumaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Saareoja in the 86th minute of play. Hannes Kruus might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Madis Virumaa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hannes Kruus ran back to his position shaking his head. Leedi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
