Fc Zõlekesed's Valmar Vooro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Zõlekesed from getting a goal against them. After having played for 6 minutes, Hannes Kruus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lehtse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Kruus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Tom Koikson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egon Kuuskmäe. FC Lehtse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Koikson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute Tom Koikson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Kuuskmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes FC Lehtse got a freekick which was hit by Ermo Pervik. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Lehtse's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Uni was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Zõlekesed's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fc Zõlekesed's Jan Uni to fire away a dangerous shot which Egon Kuuskmäe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 16 played minutes FC Lehtse got a freekick which was hit by Raul Müürsepp. In the 17th minute of the match Jan Uni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egon Kuuskmäe skillfully saved the ball. Tom Koikson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, FC Lehtse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heldur Raimets to maneuver through the defense. If Tom Koikson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, FC Lehtse's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Koikson came free, but Egon Kuuskmäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Kuuskmäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Koikson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fc Zõlekesed booed when FC Lehtse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heldur Raimets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egon Kuuskmäe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaljo Talvari went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Fc Zõlekesed were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Saareoja made a kick off. Valmar Vooro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Kruus in the 52nd minute of play. Egon Kuuskmäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaljo Talvari, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Fc Zõlekesed's Kaljo Talvari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egon Kuuskmäe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, FC Lehtse's goal looked a bit too open when Kaljo Talvari came free, but Egon Kuuskmäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Koikson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Egon Kuuskmäe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lehtse's zone, Tom Koikson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Kuuskmäe came out of the goal and Tom Koikson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, FC Lehtse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heldur Raimets to maneuver through the defense. When Tom Koikson in the 82nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Egon Kuuskmäe kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaljo Talvari in the 88th minute of play forced FC Lehtse's goalkeeper Egon Kuuskmäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fc Zõlekesed booed when FC Lehtse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Ridal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Zõlekesed played a much better game than FC Lehtse and deserved their victory. The FC Lehtse players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
