After 2 minutes, Olev Kaldoja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kuresaare FC and the Leedi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olev Kaldoja kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Silver Kaare's late challenge caught a Leedi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silver Kaare helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Kuresaare FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leedi:s goal. The referee gave Leedi a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lauri Aher, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kuresaare FC's Georg Kadarpik. 0-1. When Bert Vaabel came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Kuresaare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Vaabel couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taavet Kalenik during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leedi getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Taavet Kalenik hit a great ball. When Kalle Pilvistu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kuresaare FC's protests and gave Kalle Pilvistu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kuresaare FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kalle Pilvistu hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Mehis Emane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georg Kadarpik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Mehis Emane came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Leedi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehis Emane couldn't finish the play. Kaimo Nõgel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Kadarpik having to interfere. Bert Vaabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ago Hiiob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Madis Virumaa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Ago Hiiob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaimo Nõgel was the one to do the kick off. Bert Vaabel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Madis Virumaa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Ago Hiiob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mehis Emane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehis Emane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Georg Kadarpik made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehis Emane got free with Georg Kadarpik in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Leedi's zone, Ago Hiiob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madis Virumaa came out of the goal and Ago Hiiob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leedi's Mehis Emane got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bert Vaabel might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Madis Virumaa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bert Vaabel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Bert Vaabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madis Virumaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehis Emane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Leedi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
