Ago Hiiob started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Fc Zõlekesed booed when Kuresaare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarmo Laada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Koikson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Georg Kadarpik firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tom Koikson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Georg Kadarpik made a huge save. Valmar Vooro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Vaabel in the 16th minute of the match. Ago Hiiob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valmar Vooro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaljo Talvari in the 23rd minute of play forced Kuresaare FC's goalkeeper Georg Kadarpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Kadarpik made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tom Koikson sent off a good shot on target. Tom Koikson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. 32 minutes into the game, Ago Hiiob cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valmar Vooro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Georg Kadarpik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Koikson in the 37th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Georg Kadarpik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kuresaare FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Uni was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Zõlekesed's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Silver Mäe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tom Koikson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Kadarpik having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaljo Talvari to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Kaljo Talvari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fc Zõlekesed getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jan Uni hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ago Hiiob in the 69th minute of play forced Fc Zõlekesed's goalkeeper Valmar Vooro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Vaabel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valmar Vooro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Georg Kadarpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervin Käps in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Fc Zõlekesed got a freekick which was hit by Jan Uni. Tom Koikson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Georg Kadarpik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Kadarpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Koikson in the 96th minute of the match.
