Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) FC Lehtse's Fred Saareoja started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred Saareoja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Kadarpik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Olev Kaldoja kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Bert Vaabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Egon Kuuskmäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Saareoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Koit Vaas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fred Saareoja came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Lehtse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Saareoja couldn't finish the play. Egon Kuuskmäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ago Hiiob, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Saareoja in the 35th minute of play forced Kuresaare FC's goalkeeper Georg Kadarpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ago Hiiob in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Kuuskmäe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute of the match Raul Müürsepp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Kadarpik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Hannes Kruus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georg Kadarpik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ago Hiiob received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egon Kuuskmäe came out and tried to block the shot, but Ago Hiiob slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ago Hiiob made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FC Lehtse's goal looked a bit too open when Ago Hiiob came free, but Egon Kuuskmäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lehtse's Egon Kuuskmäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Vaabel in the 62nd minute of play. Bert Vaabel struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Egon Kuuskmäe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuresaare FC. Ago Hiiob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Kuuskmäe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Vaabel in the 69th minute of play forced FC Lehtse's goalkeeper Egon Kuuskmäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egon Kuuskmäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ago Hiiob, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ago Hiiob scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egon Kuuskmäe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hannes Kruus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Georg Kadarpik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Hannes Kruus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lehtse's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Kruus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Kadarpik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kuresaare FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lehtse had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
