In the 3rd minute, Valdek Maasar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Modern Armor's Lembitu Luiga got control of the ball when Robi Levisto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robi Levisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lembitu Luiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martti Leinatamm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Neeme Tihkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Modern Armor's goalkeeper Lembitu Luiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Modern Armor's Lembitu Luiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jann Paha in the 24th minute of play. Valdo Kalmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neeme Tihkan having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Elementary got a freekick which was hit by Veiko Sõõr. Neeme Tihkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Kalmus in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Kalmus in the 35th minute of play forced Elementary's goalkeeper Neeme Tihkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Elementary's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Kalmus came free, but Neeme Tihkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Modern Armor's Meelis Kangro got a free kick in the 41st minute. Robi Levisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jann Paha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Robi Levisto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elementary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jann Paha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Robi Levisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lembitu Luiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elementary's Aabel Keskküla pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Maido Karp fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modern Armor's protests and gave Maido Karp a yellow card for diving instead. Elementary's Juss Tõnuri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Modern Armor. Vallo Saluste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lembitu Luiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Tarmo Lätte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Modern Armor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elementary the free kick. The supporters of Elementary booed when Modern Armor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarmo Lätte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Modern Armor's Martti Leinatamm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neeme Tihkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Modern Armor's Martti Leinatamm in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elementary's goalie prevented a goal. If Robi Levisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elementary's Robi Levisto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Modern Armor's goal looked a bit too open when Robi Levisto came free, but Lembitu Luiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Valdo Kalmus made a precise shot to the right of Neeme Tihkan. Elementary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 97 minutes, Meelis Kangro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Modern Armor and the Elementary players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Modern Armor getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Meelis Kangro hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
