After 12 played minutes FC Pilsner got a freekick which was hit by Ermo Ani. In the 16th minute, Urmo Kiilaspää had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of FC Eesti Juudid booed when FC Pilsner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Heinla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC Pilsner's goal looked a bit too open when Kalju Rääbis came free, but Üllar Riiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toivo Hiisjärv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Heinla in the 20th minute of the match. Kalju Rääbis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üllar Riiga having to interfere. Üllar Riiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Salavesi in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Toivo Hiisjärv managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when FC Pilsner's Aivar Nooska fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, Ermo Ani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aivar Nooska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes in the game, Emil Heinla fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Toivo Hiisjärv having to interfere. Kalju Rääbis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üllar Riiga having to interfere. Kalju Rääbis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Üllar Riiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kalju Rääbis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Emil Heinla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Eesti Juudid's Toivo Hiisjärv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Üllar Riiga made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kalju Rääbis sent off a good shot on target. When Raimond Jüriöö fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Eesti Juudid's protests and gave Raimond Jüriöö a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, one of FC Eesti Juudid:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Eesti Juudid. In the 73rd minute Emil Heinla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toivo Hiisjärv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Emil Heinla sped through FC Eesti Juudid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toivo Hiisjärv. If Emil Heinla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Kalju Rääbis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Pilsner's Üllar Riiga. Üllar Riiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Eesti Juudid's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
