When Olavi Vanamees fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elementary's protests and gave Olavi Vanamees a yellow card for diving instead. Olavi Vanamees kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Pilsner booed when Elementary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, FC Pilsner's Emil Heinla got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jann Paha made a kick off. With a little luck, FC Pilsner's Üllar Riiga got control of the ball when Aabel Keskküla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elementary's Neeme Tihkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Heinla in the 63rd minute of play. Robi Levisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aivar Nooska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neeme Tihkan having to interfere. Neeme Tihkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Heinla in the 86th minute of the match. If Emil Heinla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Emil Heinla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neeme Tihkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Pilsner had won after a very even match.
