Timo Hirm hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Eldur Vanakool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mekhe defense, Ivo Vari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ergo Looga. The Mekhe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ergo Looga should have stopped the shot. If Ivo Vari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Tehasejõuk got a freekick which was hit by Henri Vainola. Taavet Emane might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Redi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taavet Emane ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ivo Vari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ergo Looga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ergo Looga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eldur Vanakool in the 76th minute. A collision led to Tehasejõuk getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eldur Vanakool hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Mekhe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eldur Vanakool fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
